Statement of Faith
of James Whisler
I believe and affirm that the entire Bible, meaning both Old and New Testaments, is the divinely inspired word of Yahweh God on this earth today.  It is unique, infallible and eternal; there is none like it.  ( Psalm 12:6, II Timothy 3:16, I Peter 1:20,21 ). For the english-speaking people, it's my position that this is fulfilled in the King James Version of 1611.

I believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God who created all things is all-powerful (omnipotent), all-knowing (omniscient), and is everywhere at once (omnipresent). He is the self-existent and eternal I AM. He has revealed himself to mankind as a triune deity, the Father/Yahweh, the son Jesus/Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit/Ruach Ha'Kodesh. One God, three equal persons ( Isaiah 48:16, Romans 1:20, Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7).

I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, God manifested in the flesh ( Matthew 1:20-23, John 1:1-14, Philippians 2:5-8, I Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:1-3).

I believe He lived a sinless life, carrried out a ministry ordained by the Father, the end of which he was crucified on a cross. Through this death he provided an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world. His shed blood is what washes our sins away.  Salvation from the Lake of Fire and an avoidance of eternal separation from God is available for those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and accept him as their saviour. This is the same thing Jesus described as being born again; a gift of eternal life obtained through faith, by the grace of God ( Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, I John 1:11, Hebrews 2:9, Galatians 3:13, Hebrews 9:22, John 3:1-8).

I believe that three days after Jesus was crucified he was resurrected in a physical body. He ascended into Heaven and he now sits at the Father's right hand.  He is the High Priest of the believers and he ever liveth to make intercession for them (Luke 24:39-47, Mark 16:19, Acts 1:10-11, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 7:25, Hebrews 8:1-2, I John 2:1, Romans 8:34).

I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach will soon return to the earth to rule and reign for a thousand years. This event is known as the Second Coming or Blessed Hope and will take place after what is known as the Great Tribulation. He will judge the righteous and unrighteous at that time. All the righteous believers who have died in him throughout history will return with him in new incorruptible glorified bodies. Likewise, those faithful servants who are waiting for him will be transformed into incorruptible immortal beings, for when we see him we shall be like him ( Mark 16:19, Acts 1:11, I Corinthians 15:51-53, John 14:1-3, Titus 2:13, Philippians 3:20-21, II Timothy 4:1, Revelation 22:12).

I believe that just as the Lord has promised, he has sent the Holy Spirit, which is the third part of the trinity, to guide his servants into all truth. When someone becomes born again, the Spirit comes and dwells within them to convict men of their sins, instruct, guide, illuminate scriptural truths and cause regeneration in the believer's life. The Holy Spirit will testify of Christ and empower his church to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth, to pray effectively and to be about the Father's business. Evidence of the Spirit in your life will be exhibited by the attributes of Jesus manifested in your life  ( John 15:26, John 16:7-14, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:9, 26-27, I Corinthians 3:16, Galatians 5:22-25).

I believe that it is by the indwelling of this Spirit/Ruach Ha'Kodesh that the Lord writes his law on our hearts. Salvation can only be obtained by grace through faith, and not by obeying the law (torah) of Yahweh. However, it was given by God for moral instruction in the lives of Jewish and Gentile believers. I believe that this is one of the areas where the Christian church errs by neglecting God's law, denying the Hebraic roots of Christianity, and not even acknowledging that the Gentile church is the wild olive tree that was grafted into the natural olive tree of Israel.  It is for this reason the Gentile church is in an identity crisis right now which is contributing to its apostasy,  by ignoring the full counsel of the Lord, including the appointed Feasts, the Sabbath and his commandments ( Deuteronomy 30:11-20, Psalm 19:7-14, Matthew 5:17-19, Romans 3:27-31; 11:13-24, Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14  ).
